About Adventures of Asia

Vibrant Cultures, Diverse Perspectives, Shared Future

The aim of Adventures of Asia is to spark student curiosity, build cultural empathy, and develop global competency by sharing the perspectives and experiences of Asians and Asian Americans through a virtual journey utilizing webcomics, interactive learning, and tools for educators.

A Worldwide Search for Artists & Authors

We conducted a worldwide search to find artists and authors living in and from Asia to collaborate and create authentic and engaging narratives. Each author and artist brought their own unique experience, perspective, and culture into the webcomics. While the stories follow a typical webcomic format, they also draw from the influences of Asian graphic novels like manhwa, lian huan hua, manga, truyện tranh, chitrakatha, and more.
