Modern day doctor, Francis Kwok-ping Wong, is a staunch believer in the facts. When his associates notice his declining condition from overworking, they suggest he visit a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. Though he considers it a "hack science", he gives it a shot.
But...when Francis finds himself transported back into the Han Dynasty, he realizes that "hack science" may be his only ticket home. Will Francis be able to compromise his beliefs to find balance between the two, or will he be stuck in his old ways, forever?

Pearl Law is an illustrator, comic artist, visual recorder, and a zine maker.
Hong Kong born and raised, she graduated from University of the West of England with a degree in Illustration. She’s now freelancing as an illustrator in Hong Kong.
Much of her work takes inspiration from humour, literature, history, and behavioural observations. She loves to play around with visual wit and exploring the best narrative possible through problem-solving. The tools she can’t live without are pencils and paper to work on drafts and sketches, then Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint for her line work and colouring.
In her spare time, she likes to make little art books and zines, and hangs out with her dog Poppy.
