After researching the history of Asian Graphic Novels, we conducted a worldwide search to find artists and authors living and from Asia. The Asia Society Texas education team collaborated with C&G Partners to identify the right storyteller for these immersive webcomics. Each author and artist brought their own personal experience and culture into their work. Despite following the webcomic model and look, the stories also drew influence from all Asian graphic novels like manhwa, lian huan hua, manga, truyện tranh, chitrakatha, and more.
